The efficacy of epiduroscopic adhesiolysis in patients with chronic back pain after surgery

Objective:Chronic back pain is a common problem with unwanted effects on the quality of life. The choice treatment usuallypatient-specific, but use epiduroscopic minimal invasive procedure increasing. Epiduroscopy avoids surgical complicationsand improves patient comfort. This study was conducted to compare efficacy epiduroscopy in patients failed surgerysyndrome (FBSS) and without previous surgery.Patients Methods: Forty-one ASA I-II-III aged 18–80 years old, chronic pain, radiologically clinicallydiagnosed lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), FBSS after laminectomy, hemilaminectomy, discectomy or spinalstabilization were included retrospectively. Patients stratified as Group (O) (N) backsurgery. Baseline visual analogue scale (VAS) scores obtained before treatment. During 1st, 2nd 3rd follow-ups, VASscores measured.Results: Visual decreased significantly at 1, 2, 3 months adhesiolysis both groups. Thedifferences VAS surgery not statistically significant.Conclusion: Epiduroscopic neuroplasty followed by significant decrease LSS FBSSpatients .
